I am an enthusiastic and active young mathematician, with a strong commitment to develop my scientific expertise and pedagogical experience. I hold a PhD in Mathematics from University of Lisbon, Portugal, completed in 2014 under the supervision of Prof. João Lopes Dias and Prof. Diogo Pinheiro.
I also hold a MSc Degree in Mathematical Engineering from University of Porto, Portugal, completed in 2009 and a four year long BSc degree in Mathematics from University of Minho, Portugal, completed in 2004.
I have produced research work in different topics in collaboration with a number of distinguished researchers in their fields, such as, Athanasios Yannacopoulos, Luís Aguiar-Conraria and Gerhard-Wilhelm Weber, among others. My current topics of research are concerned with the dynamics of differential equations, both deterministic and stochastic, as well as stochastic optimal control with applications to Finance and wavelet analysis.
