André Baltazar was born in Oporto, Portugal. In 2001 applied to Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto. Concluded his Master Degree in Electrical and Computing Engineering (Telecommunications and Multimédia) in 2009 and immediately started working at INESC-Porto as a researcher for the Kinetic Project. In January 2015 finished his PhD in the Doctoral Program of Science and Art Technology at Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Porto – Portugal. His research interests are mainly on HCI and how can that be used on the field of Computer Music. 

 

Currently teaches at School of Management and Industrial Studies - ESEIG/IPP and Universidade Católica Portuguesa- School of the Arts - UCP Porto
